Reflections in the Quiet

Breaking a bone in my wrist two months ago has given me time to reflect. In the stillness, we often see things differently – and so much more clearly.
Much has surfaced for me during this time. In one quiet moment, I was reminded that judgment lives within us all, often quietly, often unnoticed.
Softening to what arises in these moments allows the self the space to feel and to truly see what comes up. As we surrender and sink into the layers of what is emerging, we can begin to rest in a place where true compassion resides.
I have witnessed so many people assist others in life with such passion and such kindness. And yet, beneath this giving, there is often unspoken pain – held silently, carried gently, rarely named.
Pain has a way of opening us when we allow it. It can become a doorway rather than a wall, inviting us into deeper understanding – of ourselves, and of one another. From this place, compassion is no longer something we offer only outwardly, but something we learn to extend inward as well.
Blessings and Love Marilyn xoxo
