Course and Event Cancellation & Refund Policy*

The following conditions apply to all courses and events paid in advance only. Therefore they do not apply to events paid on the night. Your full acceptance of these conditions is implied when making a booking with Marilyn Whall.

General Conditions. Cancelling a course or an event close to commencement date affects all participants, including those on a reserve list who do not have the chance to attend. There are many associated costs in hosting an event not limited to: venue hire, catering, financial charges and transportation.

The following terms apply.

1.1 Fees / Payment:

All refunds or changes to your booking will be subject to:

  • An administrative fee of 20% of the course or event fee.
  • Any applicable bank or payment gateway processing fees, which will be deducted from the total refund amount. These fees are non-refundable as they are charged by third-party providers and cannot be recovered by Marilyn Whall.

Specific charges will vary depending on the bank transaction, credit card used, or PayPal fee.

1.2 Cancellations No refund can be given to cancellations made within two weeks of the course or event ticket commencement date. A full refund minus bank or transaction fees and an administrative charge of 20% of the course or event fee will be given to cancellations outside of two weeks of the course or event commencement date. In extenuating circumstances, a full refund can be considered by sending an email to marilynwhall@hotmail.com 

1.3 Online Courses and Digital Content:
Refunds are not available for online courses or digital content where instant access is provided via a password, special link, or downloadable file. Once access is granted, it is deemed that the customer has received the full benefit of the purchase. This policy ensures the integrity of the content and prevents misuse.
If you believe there are extenuating circumstances, you may submit a written request for review to marilynwhall@hotmail.com, outlining the reasons for your request. Refunds under these circumstances are at the sole discretion of Marilyn Whall management and may still be subject to an administrative fee of 20% and minus any bank or transaction fees.

1.4 Refund applications must be made in writing and submitted to marilynwhall@hotmail.com clearly stating the course or event dates, location and reason prior to a refund being issued.

1.5 Applicable events.
As stated earlier, this cancellation and refund policy applies only to courses and events paid in advance and that are managed by Marilyn Whall.

1.6 All readings with Marilyn Whall are confirmed after payment is made. No refunds are possible unless at least 48hrs notice is given in writing to marilynwhall@hotmail.com and it has been confirmed. Refunds will be minus bank or transaction fees and an administrative charge of 20%. Appointments can be changed by sending an email to marilynwhall@hotmail.com with at least 24 hours notice.

1.7 Disclaimer All refunds and cancellation fees will be administered at the sole discretion of Marilyn Whall management.
